Peter Harries
Peter has been a Rotarian
since 1970. He has three children and is a keen golfer. Peter considers
himself ‘nomadic’ as he has had 120 international trips in 9 years. Peter’s
classification is "International Marketing" as he is the representative for
Keystone Retaining Walls outside of America. After a licence has been bought
for the retaining wall business, Peter gives seminars on their use, and is
quite an expert with Powerpoint. So far there are approximately 25 licencees
and Peter sees each one once a year. That’s a lot of traveling Pete! The
highest wall the firm has ever built is 22 metres high, in Costa Rica. It
has survived many earthquake threats. Peter calculates he spends about 115
days out of Australia each year.
