KATOOMBA ROTARY 75TH ANNIVERSARY

"A Night at the Races" 18 May 2012 Bankstown Paceway

Rotary Club of Revesby Wirrimbirra are hosting "A Night at the Races" on Friday, May 18th, 2012, at Bankstown Paceway, 178 Eldridge Road, Bankstown, from 6.30 pm to which members their friends are invited.

This gala event will feature an action packed night of racing, including the time honoured Schweppes Sydney Cup. Rotarians and their guests with be treated to a VIP race night dining experience in the luxurious Binskin Lounge which directly overlooks both the winning post and mounting yard, known as the "Theatre of the Horse". Included are a sumptuous three course feast, unlimited beer, wine and soft dinks, plus entertainment, fashions on the field, charity auctions, raffles and games for all ages, and, for the punter, the exclusivity of a private TAB host.

In addition to being both a fun filled and glamour packed occasion, the evening also aspires to raise much needed funds for Rotary Australia World Community Service Project Number 28 "Serenity" to help build a free local community school, Sopheak's Friendship School in the rural Cheasmonn Village, located in Cambodia's Siem Reap Province.
