The President's Column
I would like to thank everyone who helped make last Saturday nights Carols by Candlelight – especially Bradley Ayres and his Committee – a great success.
Bradley and his committee had a number of meetings - and Bradleys organising abilities ensured that everything went smoothly.
Final figures are not yet known (we are waiting on some final expenses to be reimbursed) but Treasurer Keith says that gross takings were:
BBQ and drinks: $1,518; Raffle: $1,671; Other : $450; Total $3,639
We have a good supply of drinks and a small supply of (now frozen) sausages to carry forward to future events (including Croquet in January and a maybe Council event in March).

In total some 30 Rotarians and at least 7 partners volunteered on the night – a wonderful effort. It was good to see Sal and Rita Tosto helping out.
