Those Rotarians not able to
attend last weeks meeting missed an excellent presentation by
Nicholas Mc Taggart from the Australian Federal Police.
This weeks New Generations
youth evening will be another enjoyable information and fellowship
evening. Thanks to Youth Director Bradley Ayres for organising the
night.
The organisation of our GALA
FUND-RAISER to support the ROYAL FAR WEST CHILDRENS HEALTH SCHEME is
in the capable hands of PP Peter Manenti.
Peter has tentatively booked
the venue (Castel Doro, Five Dock) for Friday night 9th May 2008. I
believe Peter will be twisting a few Rotarians arms to come on board
the committee so as to make the night one of great entertainment and
fellowship. We will keep you informed on progress.
The Rotary BBQ was well
attended at the Strathfield Spring Fair on Sunday.
Around 1000 sausage rolls were
professionally prepared and sold by a group of hard working
Rotarians, and some partners. Another job well done fellows.
