Club awards and memorabilia

In the Rotary Year 2004 - 2005 the Club's International Director Rotarian Bradley Ayres became aware that there was a store of memorabilia held in a backroom by Strathfield Rotary Club. This memorabilia had accumulated over the proceeding 35 years. It represented communication to Strathfield Rotary Club from various Rotary Clubs from around the world and from Rotary subsets such as Group Study Exchange. Sometimes banners were displayed but most of the memorabilia languished never to be exhibited
Bradley believed that it is important not to conceal the Club's memorabilia. Upon his investigations as to the quantity of information Bradley also noted that the Rotary Club of Strathfield stored in hiding places much of its own memorabilia such as awards and recognitions. Bradley realised the opportunity to put on view such material regularly was difficult if not impossible at our Club meetings so he suggested that we use the Rotary Club of Strathfield website.
Bradley has accepted the onerous task of photographing the awards and memorabilia and arranging to have it displayed via these web pages over time.
