Hello fellows
This evening is Past
Presidents’ evening and I welcome all Past Presidents to our meeting
tonight. Thanks to Past President Raymond McCluskie for organizing and
coordinating tonight’s meeting who will also launch the Rotary Centennial
Project to be undertaken by our club.
There are currently 3
commitment sheets circulating:
-
Bike the Park “thank you”
dinner on 16 June,
-
Club Changeover on 23 June
and
-
District Changeover on 26
June (note, tonight is the last night to book).
Please ensure you have seen
them all and pass on to any member who hasn’t yet indicated either
attendance or an apology.
Every year the Rotary
Foundation touches the lives of millions of people. While Rotarians serve
the Rotary Foundation in many ways, the Centurion Club recognises
individuals who commit themselves to a personal contribution of $100.00
annually to the Rotary Foundation. This donation, when via the Rotary
Foundation Trust, is tax deductible. Your contribution is part of the Rotary
Foundation Annual Giving Program, which assists our District with resources
to support Rotary Foundation Humanitarian Programs. With the new District
Simplified Grants, 20% of the monies returned to our District can be used to
assist our own communities.
Why not make our club the
first in the District to have 100% participation. See me for a Commitment
Form.
URGENT URGENT, our BBQ trailer
after being comfortably housed in Mrs. Macs garage for several years is now
homeless. At short notice last week we were advised that Mrs. Mac had a need
to store some furniture in her garage and as a result we have had to move
our trailer out. Therefore this an urgent appeal to any member who can
provide storage for our BBQ trailer.
Have a successful week.
