Hello fellows
There are two major community
events coming up, both in May, which we as Rotarians need to be involved:
-
The first one, is our
community “bike the park” event on 2 May which is not only a community
activity but also a fund raiser. Based on the amount of work being done so
far by a small band of members this event is going to be a great success.
-
The second one, is the
Salvation Army’s Red Shield Appeal. A major component of The Salvation
Army's fundraising drive is the national doorknock each year. This year's
doorknock will take place on 23 May. The Salvation Army's major annual
fundraising drive is to help finance a vast network of social and
community services.
Don't forget we are having our
ANZAC morning breakfast and memorial service at Cape Cabarita, this weekend
(Sunday 25th April). This year generously organised by Peter & Anne Manenti
who will appreciate any assistance on the morning for cooking duties.
